On 17 and 19 March 2026, two informative sessions were held on the Erasmus+ Programme, bringing together representatives of higher education institutions (HEIs) from across the country

On 10-13 March 2026, the University of International Business named after Kenzhegali Sagadiyev hosted the International Week of Faculty Development as part of UIB International Week 2026, under the theme “Global Collaboration: Science, Innovation, and Cultural Exchange”.

On 9–10 March 2026, an online study visit was held within the framework of the SPHERE project titled “AI-Enabled Digital Transformation for Inclusive Universities: Policy, Practice and Impact.”

On February 23–25, the first seminar meeting of the working group within the framework of the international project “Greening Water Education for Sustainable Development in Central Asia” was held at the University of Niš in Serbia.

The “EUROSOFT” project is being implemented at the Faculty of International Relations of L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University (ENU) from 2023 to 2026. The project aims to study the dissemination and influence of the European Union’s (EU) soft power in Central Asia.

On 19 February 2026, at the initiative of the National Center for Higher Education Development, an online infosession for universities was held on the topic “Opportunities for Kazakhstani HEIs under the Erasmus+ Programme,” conducted by the Coordinator of National Erasmus+ Office in Kazakhstan Laura Paluanova.

On February 16, 2026, the international Train-the-Trainer Capacity-Building Workshop — “Trainer Preparation” — officially began at D. Serikbayev East Kazakhstan Technical University as part of the Erasmus+ EduFusion – Network for Sustainable Growth project.

On 26-27 January 2026, the annual meeting of National Erasmus+ Offices (NEOs), International Contact Points (ICPs), and Erasmus National Focal Points (ENFPs) was held in Brussels, bringing together representatives from 145 countries worldwide.

In January 2026, NEO KZ organized a series of online sessions for potential applicants of the CBHE and Jean Monnet projects.

The National Erasmus+ Office in Kazakhstan (NEO KZ) is pleased to announce that the Erasmus+ 2026 Call is officially open. All interested higher education institutions can now submit project proposals under the various programme actions.

On December 10, 2025, the National Erasmus+ Office in Kazakhstan (hereinafter – NEO KZ) hosted its annual Information Day of the Erasmus+ Programme in Astana, Kazakhstan.

On December 9, 2025 the National Erasmus+ Office in Kazakhstan (hereinafter – NEO KZ) hosted a Cluster Meeting on the impact of Erasmus+ projects on higher education in environment and natural resources management at Esil University in Astana, Kazakhstan.

On 21 November 2025, S. Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University hosted a seminar titled “Quality Culture in Higher Education”.

The National Erasmus+ Office in Kazakhstan (NEO KZ), together with the Higher Education Reform Experts (HERE) team and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, successfully hosted the online Technical Assistance Mission (TAM) Seminar on “University–Industry Partnership in the Context of Sustainable Development” on 10–11 November 2025.
