A 9-digit unique identifier of organistaions to take part in actions centrally managed by the European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA). Any organisation, HEI that wish to be part of Erasmus+ projects either as a partner or a coordinator managed by the EACEA (e.g., CBHE, Erasmus Mundus, Jean Monnet) should have a valid PIC.
If you change employer, please introduce a colleague to the process and ask them to set up a new account for future use. Do not share your credentials!
First of all, you should verify whether your organisation is already registered in the system. To do so, access the Portal Participant Register and navigate to: HOW TO PARTICIPATE > PARTICIPANT REGISTER > SERACH A PIC (CHECK IF MY ORGANISATIONS EXISTS IN THE SYSTEM). Then enter either the name of your organisation or its PIC number to search for existing records.
If your organisation is not registered yet, go to HOW TO PARTICIPATE > PARTICIPANT REGISTER > REGISTER YOUR ORGANISATION. You need to provide basic administrative and legal information about your organisation. Make sure that you have the relevant documents at hand.
You do not have to complete the registration process in one session. You can enter some information, save it and continue later on. To resume your registration, go to MY ORGANISATIONS > CONTINUE REGISTRATION. Please find detailed information here.
After completing the new registration, you will receive the 9-digit PIC.
Newly created PIC will be provisional until it is formally validated at a later stage. The Central Validation Service will contact you for further steps.
