Infosessions on Erasmus+ in West Kazakhstan

On September 8-19, 2024, NEO KZ Coordinator Laura Paluanova held Erasmus+ information sessions at higher education institutions in Aktobe, Uralsk, Atyrau and Aktau. These visits included meetings with universities' leadership; general sessions about Erasmus+; tailored sessions for potential CBHE and Jean Monnet applicants and tours of the laboratories established under Erasmus+ projects. Within the visit the Coordinator visited the following regional universities:

• Zhubanov Aktobe Regional University
• Ospanov West Kazakhstan Medical University
• Baishev University
• Zhangir Khan University
• West Kazakhstan Innovation and Technology University
• Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University
• Yessenov Atyrau University of Oil and Gas

As a result, regional universities increased their awareness about the programme; understood what actions they want to consider and received helpful recommendations and tools to participate in the Erasmus+ actions available for Kazakhstan.
