Infosessions on Erasmus+ in Almaty and Taldykorgan
From October 23 to November 3, 2023, NEO KZ Coordinator Laura Paluanova visited higher education institutions in Almaty and Taldykorgan to hold infosessions on Erasmus+. These visits included meetings with universities' leadership; general sessions about Erasmus+; tailored sessions for potential CBHE and Jean Monnet applicants and tours of the laboratories established under Erasmus+ projects. Within the visit the Coordinator visited the following universities:

- K.Sagadiev University of International Business
- NARXOZ University
- Satbayev University

Apart from the general sessions, separate sessions were held to review the sample project proposal forms and provide helpful tips on writing a competitive project proposal. Some higher education institutions featured NEO KZ Coordinator's speech accompanied by a presentation from Dana Abdrasheva, a member of the HERE team, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University, discussing internationalization and digitalization in higher education.
As a result, universities increased their awareness about the programme; understood what actions they want to consider and received helpful recommendations and tools to participate in the Erasmus+ actions available for Kazakhstan. Moreover, participants received valuable insights on internationalization of higher education from the HERE member.
