Infosessions on Erasmus+ in South Kazakhstan

On October 10-17, 2024, NEO KZ Coordinator Laura Paluanova held a series of information sessions on the Erasmus+ programme as part of the #Erasmus Days events at various higher education institutions in Kyzylorda, Turkestan and Shymkent cities. These visits included meetings with universities' leadership; general sessions about Erasmus+; tailored sessions for potential CBHE and Jean Monnet applicants and tours of the laboratories established under Erasmus+ projects. Within the visit the Coordinator visited the following regional universities:

• International University of Toursim and Hospitality
• M.Auezov South Kazakhstan University
• South Kazakhstan Medical Academy
• O.Zhanibekov South Kazakhstan Pedagogical University

• Central Asian Innovation University
• Miras University

As a result, regional universities increased their awareness about the programme; understood what actions they want to consider and received helpful recommendations and tools to participate in the Erasmus+ actions available for Kazakhstan.
