International Credit Mobility

HEIs of Kazakhstan can take part in International Credit Mobility (ICM) as partner organisations under the Key action 1. Only HEIs of EU Member States and third countries associated to the Programme can act as a Coordinator in ICM projects. ICM projects include short-term academic exchanges of HEI students and staff:

Student mobility for studies
Student mobility for traineeships
Staff mobility for teaching
Staff mobility for training

Students of any level (Bachelor’s, Master’s, PhD) and of any programme can participate in ICM. The study activities offered to students have to be part of the student's study programme, while the activities offered to student trainees should also be integrated into the trainee's study programme.
Staff mobility	5 – 60 days Staff mobility for reaching: no less than 8 hours per week	28 – 1735 EUR (depending on the country)	Up to the 14th day: 148 -190 EUR per day depending on the country. After the 14th day (15-60): 70% of the amount.
HEI students and staff cannot apply directly to ICM projects. They should consult with the international department or the department coordinating the academic mobility to receive more information and participate in ICM projects.
