On December 27 and 30, 2024, a two-day online Regional Technical Assistance Mission (TAM) Seminar was held on “The Role of AI in Higher Education.” The event brought representatives of HEIs, researchers and experts to discuss key aspects of integrating artificial intelligence into higher education.

On December 19, 2024, the National Erasmus+ Office in Kazakhstan held the Erasmus+ Information Day at the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University.

On December 3-4, 2024, NEO KZ Coordinator Laura Paluanova participated in Central European Joint Infodays that took place in Bratislava, Slovakia. The event was co-organized with the National Erasmus+ agencies from Hungary (Tempus Public Foundation), Austria (OeAD), and Slovakia (SAAIC), with SAAIC taking the lead this year.

On November 13, 2024, National Erasmus+ Office in Kazakhstan participated in the Student Government Scholarship Fair at Nazarbayev University.

On October 10-17, 2024, NEO KZ Coordinator Laura Paluanova hosted a series of information sessions on the Erasmus+ programme as part of the #ErasmusDays events at various higher education institutions in Kyzylorda, Turkestan and Shymkent cities.

From September 30 to October 4, 2024, NEO KZ Coordinator Laura Paluanova took part in the International KEnEU week organized by Kostanay University of Engineering and Economics named after M. Dulatov.

On September 8-19, 2024, NEO KZ Coordinator Laura Paluanova held Erasmus+ information sessions at higher education institutions in Aktobe, Uralsk, Atyrau and Aktau.

On July 16, 2024, a Pre-Departure Orientation session for the Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters (EMJM) 2024 scholarship recipients was organized by NEO KZ and the Delegation of the European Union to the Republic of Kazakhstan.

On June 18-21, 2024, NEO KZ Coordinator Laura Paluanova held Erasmus+ information sessions at higher education institutions in Karaganda, Temirtau and Zhezkazgan.

On April 20-27, 2024, NEO KZ Coordinator Laura Paluanova held information sessions on the Erasmus+ programme at HEIs in Almaty.

On April 25, 2024, a roundtable on “Inclusion and Social adaptation” was held at Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University. The range of speakers included the representatives of several HEIs of Kazakhstan, NGOs, Ministry of Labor and Social Protection, World Bank and HERE members.

On April 19, the NEO KZ Coordinator L.Paluanova attended the International Seminar “Cooperation in Higher Education: Spain- Kazakhstan”, dedicated to relations of Kazakhstani and Spanish HEIs hosted by the L.N.Gumilyov Eurasian National University.

On 4-5 April, 2024 a regional Technical Assistance Mission (TAM) seminar on Micro-credentials was held with HERE experts and HEIs of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.

On March 5-6, 2024 NEO KZ in collaboration with the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan and with the support of the Delegation of the European Union to the Republic of Kazakhstan and European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) held a Technical Assistance Mission (TAM) seminar on “Innovative Teaching and Learning Strategy: Methods, Technologies, and Tools” at Astana IT University.
