Within the Science Month at Ahmet Yassawi University, a series of important scientific events was conducted. From April 27 to 30, 2026, a series of seminars aimed at enhancing the professional capacity of faculty members and young researchers was organized, along with an information and practical session dedicated to the Erasmus+ programme.
The Erasmus+ session took place on April 29-30. The event was conducted by the Coordinator of the National Erasmus+ Office in Kazakhstan, Laura Paluаnova, who delivered informational sessions for university representatives.

On the second day of the programme, issues related to the search for international partners for Erasmus+ projects were discussed, and practical sessions were organized. Participants completed tasks on consortium building and identification of project partners.
Special attention within the seminar was given to the Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE) action. Participants received detailed information on the objectives, priorities, changes in the 2026 call, differences between strands, and consortium requirements.
In the practical part, participants completed interactive tasks aimed at identifying errors in CBHE strands and consortia, and learned to identify the problem or need that could be the basis for a CBHE project proposal. The event contributed to the development of international cooperation within the Erasmus+ programme, strengthening the university’s project capacity, and improving the professional competencies of academic staff and employees.
At the end of the event, Director of the Department of Science, Khairulla Masadikov presented certificates of appreciation to all speakers who shared valuable knowledge.
